How to reset Azure Information Protection (AIP) Templates

These steps show how to reset Azure Information Protection (AIP) Templates on Microsoft Word.

You can do these steps from any other Office App.

1. Open the Microsoft Word App
2. Click on Blank Document or New
3. 

4. In the menu on top, select Home

5. Click on the Sensitivity box to open up the options

6. Click on ? Help and Feedback

7. 

8. You will get a Pop-up from Microsoft Azure Information Protection

9. Click on Reset Settings

10. 

11. Another Pop-Up will appear informing you that this action will delete registry settings that you might need to connect to AIP

12. Click on Continue

13. 

14. Open Microsoft Word once again, you will be prompted to sign-in with Microsoft Azure Information Protection

15. Sign-in with your account

16. 

17. Click on a Blank document once again

18. 

19. Click on the Sensitivity box to open up the options

20. Click on Show Bar

21. 

22. This option will show all the labels to protect the documentation under the menu

23. You can hover the mouse over the labels to see a short description as in  the example below

24. Click on the appropriate label to assign it to that document.
