You can repair some apps and programs if they're not running correctly. Note that you won't see repair, change, or modify options for all apps and programs.
Run the app troubleshooter:
Windows has a built-in app troubleshooter that can detect and resolve issues like app crashes and compatibility problems. You can access it from the Troubleshoot section of the Settings app.
- Select Start >Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other Troubleshooter
- Look for the Store apps troubleshooter and click on the Run button for it
- Once the scan has started running, wait for the utility to look for any errors in the system and generate a report based on those. If any issues are found, the troubleshooter will notify you and in most cases, will also suggest relevant fixes you can try.
Repair
If you have already tried closing the app and reopening it, but the error persist you may proceed to repair:
Repair options from the Settings page

Select Start >Settings >Apps>Apps & features.

Select the More icon next to the app you want to fix.

Select the Advanced options link under the name of the app (some apps don't have this option). On the page that opens, select Repair if it's available. If it isn't available or doesn't fix the problem, select Reset.

In the search box on the taskbar or after clicking the Windows icon , type control panel and select Control Panel from the results.

Select Programs > Programs and Features.

Right-click the program you want to fix and select Repair, or if that’s not available, select Change. Then follow the directions on the screen. From here you can try an Offline repair or Online repair if available.
Uninstalling:
If after running a repair you continue to have issues, you can fully uninstalled the app and then reinstalled it.

Select Start >All apps and search for the app in the list shown.

Press and hold (or right-click) on the app, then select Uninstall.

Select Start > Settings>Apps >Apps & features .

Find the app you want to remove, select More > Uninstall.
Note: Some apps can't be uninstalled from the Settings app right now. For help uninstalling these apps, follow the instructions to uninstall from Control Panel.

In search on the taskbar or after clicking the Windows logo icon , enter Control Panel and select it from the results.

Select Programs > Programs and Features.

Press and hold (or right-click) on the program you want to remove and select Uninstall or Uninstall / Change. Then follow the directions on the screen.
Reinstalling the app/program
From the internet:
You should download and install programs only from trusted publishers and retail websites.

In your web browser, search for the program you would like to install, select the link to start the download program.

Select Save or Save as to download the program. Most antivirus programs like Windows Defender will scan the program for viruses during download.

If you select Save, the program file is saved in your Downloads folder.

Or, if you select Save as, you can choose where to save it, like your desktop.
From Microsoft Store:
There are two ways to get apps from Microsoft Store:

On the Start menu, select the Microsoft Store tile.

On the taskbar, select the Microsoft Store icon.
Note: If you are experiencing issues with any of the Office apps, you can try repairing the Microsoft Office program in Control panel and or uninstalling it.
