As part of the Identity Package, we enable the (Privileged Identity Management) PIM feature. If you need to enable the Global Administrator, please follow these steps:
- Go to Home - Microsoft Entra admin center
- Select Identity Governance (or search in the top bar)
- Click on Privileged Identity Management
- Click on My roles
- Activate the appropriate role (i.e.: Global Admin)
- Enter a Reason
- Click on Activate
- Wait for a couple minutes and the role is assigned to the account
This assignment only allows you to be administrator for the next 2 hours, after those 2 hours you are going to be a standard user again.
