As a user within an organization, you may occasionally try to sign in to a third-party or internal enterprise application (such as Adobe, Salesforce, or a custom app) using your work credentials. Sometimes, during this process, you may encounter the need of requesting Admin approval for the app.
In this example, you are attempting to sign in to Adobe ID (e.g., for Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Sign, or Document Cloud) using your work account.
Go to the application’s sign-in page and choose the option to sign in with Microsoft.
- Enter your work email and password, and complete multi-factor authentication (MFA) if prompted.
- You’ll then see a prompt asking for justification. Enter your reason for requesting access to the app and click "Request approval."
- Both you and your admin will receive a notification via email regarding the access request.
- While you wait for admin approval, you won’t be able to use the application.
- Once approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email.
- You can then try signing in again to gain access.
