If you recently purchased a Windows 10/11 Home to Pro upgrade product key and you are getting an error when trying to do one of the following.
Use a generic key first, then the key provided by BEMO
- Disconnect your computer from Internet. Turned off Wi-Fi connection or unplugged the ethernet cable.

After that in:

Windows 10: Select the Start
button, then select Settings > Update & Security > Activation

Windows 11: Select the Start
button, and then select Settings> System and then select Activation

Select Change product key, and then enter the 25-character Generic Windows 10 Pro product key.

Select Next to start the upgrade to Windows 10 Pro. The computer will restart.
- After it restarts connect your computer back to Internet.
- Activate Windows 10/11 Pro performing step 2 again and using the key purchased and provided by your administrator or reseller.
Getting error code 0xC004F050
The error code 0xC004F050 during activation indicates that the edition of your system does not match the product key. Please verify your Windows Edition to ensure it aligns with your license key.
If you are attempting to upgrade from Windows 11 Home to 11 Pro and encounter an error code ending in 050, please follow the steps below to complete the upgrade:
**Step 1:** Enter the following generic upgrade key in your activation window:
NW6C2-QMPVW-D7KKK-3GKT6-VCFB2
**Step 2:** If you receive a different error code, please restart your computer.
**Step 3:** After rebooting, return to your activation window and enter the license key you purchased from us.
Corrupted OS
Important: If you still get an error while upgrading using the generic product key, there might be a corruption of the OS or Windows user profile. You can try creating a new Windows User local profile to perform the steps above.

Getting error code 0xC004C008
As Windows 11 will automatically activate if you are connected to the internet, you can confirm your activation status by selecting Start > Settings > Update & Security > Activation and looking under Windows.
The error code 0xC004C008 experienced during activation may suggest the key was already used on a device which actually may be a false positive.
If you are sure, you never used the product key that was given to you, consider the following steps to complete the activation.
To activate Windows 11 by phone:
Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Activation.
Under Activate Windows Now section, select Activate by Phone icon.
Select your location (or the location nearest to you) from the drop-down list, and then select Next. Just pick any location if you can't get the actual one.
Send us an installation ID and we will do it for you. They will look like this.
Or, if you do not have the Activate by Phone option:
- Press the Windows logo key + R, type slui 4 in the Open box, and select OK.
- Select your location (or the location nearest to you) from the drop-down list, and then select Next.
