What is the Microsoft New Commerce Experience (NCE) and why I cannot reduce the number of seats of cancel my subscription sometimes?

Adding or removing seats
To add or remove seats, please open the license page first and from there you can hit the “Change” action to add or remove seats for a subscription you have already created.
Suspending a subscription
Changing the quantity to “0” will put the subscription in a suspended mode. By design, you can only suspend a subscription that does not have an active addon. If you have active addons and want to suspend its parent subscription, you will need t to suspend the addon first by going to the license.
Note. The quantity for any subscription cannot be less than the assigned number of seats. You will have to unassign the subscription in the Microsoft 365 admin portal then reduce the number of seats on the Store license page.
When removing a Microsoft 365 license from a user, it will suspend the service for that user. Microsoft will hold the user’s data (email and OneDrive) for 30 days, after that 30-day period the data cannot be recovered. During that 30-day period, you can restore access by assigning the license back.
Once a subscription has been suspended, it will remain visible in the BEMO Store Admin Center for 90 days. During that time, you can re-activate it. Re-activating a subscription past the 30-day mark will not restore any data. After 90 days a suspended subscription will be permanently deleted.
Adding or removing addons
To add or remove addons for Microsoft 365, please open the license page first. From there you can hit the “Shop addons” action. You will see all the compatible Microsoft 365 addons from there and add to your shopping cart.
Creating a new subscription
If you do not have a subscription for an offer you need, simply use the search toolbar, or pick one of the categories: Business, Enterprise, Cybersecurity, Software Subscription, or Other
By design, you will not be able to create a subscription for a Microsoft 365 offer if you already have a subscription. In that case, just follow the steps to add seats.
